From green energy to ISO 9001:2015 certification, Mayeri sets a standard for quality and environmental commitment, showcasing a dedication to a cleaner, greener future

Mayeri Industries AS is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Since 2019, the company has been using green energy in it`s production process and green heating, produced in a boiler house fueled by wood chips acquired from local residents and companies. The company has also received an ISO 9001:2015 quality management certificate from certification organization Bureau Veritas, which recognizes the company’s efforts in quality management.

Mayeri Industries AS has been focusing on the development of eco-friendly products and recyclable packages, with the aim of reducing plastic packaging. By taking these steps, the company is setting an example for other companies to follow and demonstrating its commitment to a better future for all through its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts.

Sustainable Product Development

  • In product development we proceed to develop products tailored to customer needs, we rely on long experience and tradition, and modern technology. Mayeri’s main objective in product development is to produce a more effective, but safer for people and environment, eco-friendly and sustainable products to clean surfaces and fabrics.
  • Product formulas are developed in the company’s specially equipped laboratory by chemists with longstanding expertise. We cooperate with different research institutions, such as the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, and Estonian University of Life Sciences, Plant Protection Institute of St. Petersburg.
  • In addition to carried out daily laboratory tests on the quality the products are also tested in the laboratories at independent research institutions to ensure stability of product quality level.

Packaging

We use mono-material packaging for our products, which are recycled plastic and the safest for the environment. The packaging is 100% recyclable with the cap.

Dermatologically approved – a dermatologist carefully analyses how the skin will react towards the product, it`s ingredients and for any development of allergic effects. This test usually being done by and on the dermatologist him or herself.
Vegan ingredients and not tested on animals.
The factory uses 100% renewable energy and it is heated with woodchips collected from the surrounding residents.
Products have been developed in cooperation with the Finnish Allergy and Asthma Association.
ISO certificates confirm that the organization's management system has been controlled and found to be in compliance with the requirements of the ISO standards.

Mayeri's history and experience in the production of high-quality consumer chemistry date back to 1889, when Baltic German Richard Mayer founded the first chemical plant in Estonia.
